What?
Welcome to Deeper! We hope that your time with us brings you closer to God and His Kingdom.
Deeper began when some people at gcfc started thinking about ways that they could expand the scope of their church's young adult ministry. They wanted to create something that impacted more people in a more profound way, without taking them away from their 'real church.' Thus Deeper was born.
The idea of a young adult worship night is almost cliche in today's entertainment-driven Church, but we are striving to do more with this.
Deeper is not..
A replacement for another church or a place to have all your needs met. (A real body has newborns and ninety-year-olds.)
Another place to go and be entertained. (God knows that any Johnson Countian already has plenty to do.)
The beginning of a spin-off church that will create its own denomination. (There are too many divisions in God's Body already.)
Deeper is...
A place for young adults to come together to experience God, worship Him, share ideas, discuss, learn, and be challenged.
A time to be equipped so that you can go out and deeply impact your family, your neighborhood, and maybe even your church.
A group of people who are searching for what it means to be a part of God's Kingdom, during a decade of life that is full of changes. Most nights we will have teaching, musical worship, experiential worship, small group discussion and prayer, and fellowship.
